Zusammenfassung:Methods and electronic devices for initiating a complementary application are described. In one example embodiment, a method, implemented by a processor of a first electronic device is described. The method includes: establishing a connection between the first electronic device and a second electronic device; receiving a communication, wherein the communication includes textual information; determining if the textual information includes at least one key term; and if the textual information includes the at least one key term, initiating an application on the second electronic device based on the at least one key term.
