SECONDARY DISTRIBUTION NETWORK TRANSFORMER

A secondary distribution network transformer for supplying power to the secondary distribution network is specified, having: - an active part with primary and secondary windings for transforming a primary medium voltage into a secondary distribution network voltage, wherein the active part is arranged in a transformer tank with cooling and insulating fluid; - a plurality of switching devices for adjusting the ratio between the primary voltage and the secondary voltage, wherein the switching devices on the secondary side are switched between taps of the secondary-side windings and the neutral point of the secondary-side windings and wherein the switching devices in the transformer tank are arranged in the area of the cooling and insulating fluid in the active part underneath the windings.
