When the engine (14) is started and the electric motor increased torque Tmup is large, it is easier for a large deviation to occur between the electric motor increased torque Tmup and the actual KO transmission torque Tk than when the electric motor increased torque is smaller, and the engine startup shock generated by that deviation also is larger, so the engine startup shock is suppressed by increasing the L/U slip amount Ns. Meanwhile, when the electric motor increased torque Tmup is relatively small, it is difficult for a large deviation to occur between the electric motor increased torque Tmup and the actual KO transmission torque Tk, and the engine startup shock is not that large even if a deviation occurs, so the L/U slip amount Ns is set relatively small, thus ensuring good fuel consumption and drivability. |
