Zusammenfassung: | The present application discloses a population of non-aggregated polymer-coated nanoparticles having a mean particle size (diameter) in the range of 1-100 nm, said population comprising (i) a first subpopulation of (re)active particles coated with a first polymer, and (ii) a second subpopulation of non-(re)active tracer particles coated with a second polymer, wherein the weight ratio between said first subpopulation and said second subpopulation is from between 85:15 to 99.99:0.01, as well as a composition comprising such a population. The population of particles is particularly useful for tracking of particles in methods for remediation, including in-situ remediation, of contaminated ground water and for water treatment. |
