Improved beacon for a railway track signalling system; related signalling system

Thisbeacon (20), designed for transmitting information relative to a signalling equipment unit to a receiver device (40) located on board a train (2) when the said receiver device passes in close proximity of the beacon, the beacon comprising of : a memory (28) ; a transponder (24) capable of transmitting a telegram placed in the memory (28) ; and an electric power generation / conversion module (26). Thebeacon (20) is intended to be connected directly to a relay (10) for controlling the signalling equipment unit (6), and includes an encoding module (22) capable of acquiring, from the said relay, an input variable corresponding to a state of the said signalling equipment unit, and of converting the said variable into a telegram placed in the memory of the beacon.
