The bracket arrangement (1) comprises an elongated first bracket (4), and an elongated second bracket (5), of which first and second bracket one is attachable to the side guard system (2, 2') of the vehicle, the semitrailer or the trailer, and the other is releasably attachable to said bracket attachable to the side guard system (2, 2'), and the side panel (3) is attachable to one of said first and second brackets.
