Zusammenfassung:	[Problem] To provide a battery reinforcement method for reinforcing an end of a battery cell so that no damage occurs. [Solution] A battery reinforcement method for reinforcing a rectangular battery cell (10) in which a battery element is disposed in a rectangular external packaging (13), wherein the external packaging (13) is formed by enclosing the battery element (15) between two rectangular external packaging sheets and sealing the resulting assembly with a sealing part (16) that runs along each of the edges of the rectangular form, the battery reinforcement method comprising a step (step S3) for forming a reinforcing part (80) to the outside of the sealing part (16) in the external packaging (13).
