REFRIGERATION DEVICE HAVING TWO STORAGE CHAMBERS

A refrigeration device, in particular a domestic refrigeration device, has at least a first and a second storage chamber (2, 3), a compressor (7) and a direction-control valve (10). The first storage chamber (2) has a first associated evaporator (5) and a first associated temperature sensor (14). The second storage chamber (3) has a second associated evaporator (6) and a second associated temperature sensor (15). The second evaporator (6) is connected to a pressure connection of a compressor (7) by means of the first evaporator (5) in a first position of the direction-control valve (10), and the second evaporator (6) is connected to the pressure connection, bypassing the first evaporator (5), in a second position of the direction-control valve (10). A control circuit (13) is designed to switch over the direction-control valve (10) from the first position to the second position when the compressor (7) is running, and, when the temperature (Tnk) which is detected by the first temperature sensor (14) has exceeded a first switch-on limit value (T1on), to initially operate the compressor (7) while the direction-control valve (10) is in the first position, and to switch off the compressor (7) when the temperatures (Tnk, Tf) which are detected by the two temperature sensors (14, 15) have fallen below associated first and, respectively, second switch-off limit values (T1off, T2off).
