Zusammenfassung:	A power supply unit includes a first output terminal that outputs a voltage in a first polarity; a second output terminal that outputs a voltage changeable in a range between a voltage in the first polarity and a voltage in a second polarity different from the first polarity; and second output control means for controlling the voltage that is output from the second output terminal, the second output control means including a series circuit of a constant voltage element and a variable voltage element connected in series, one end of the series circuit being connected with the first output terminal and a connection point between the constant voltage element and the variable voltage element being connected with the second output terminal.
