Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half bridge for a 3-level power conversion device, reduced in switching overvoltage.SOLUTION: In a half bridge for a 3-level power conversion device, power semiconductor switches T1, T2, T3, T4 and diodes D1, D2, D3, D4 of a half bridge 1 are divided into a first substrate 2 and a second substrate 3 so that the following situation is achieved. Namely, the power semiconductor switches and the diodes are divided so as to achieve a situation where the commutation of electric current does not wholly occur or does not almost occur between the power semiconductor switches T1, T2 and the diodes D1, D3 disposed on the first substrate 2 and the power semiconductor switches T3, T4 and the diodes D2, D4 disposed on the second substrate 3 during a preferable operation of the half bridge 1 for a 3-level power conversion device having a high power factor.
