Motor vehicle air system for supplying compressed air to a compressed air braking system in a commercial vehicle comprises an air compressor for generating compressed air and an air dryer for drying the compressed air generated the compressor, as well as a heat exchanger for controlling the temperature of the compressed air produced by the air compressor and then supplied in temperature-controlled form to the air dryer. Heat exchanger is made in the form of an air-liquid heat exchanger which transfers heat between the compressed air and the liquid. Plastic pipe is placed between the air-liquid heat exchanger and the air dryer.EFFECT: easier construction and improved anticorrosive properties.14 cl, 1 dwg
