Zusammenfassung:	The invention refers to a device (10) for positioning the rotor (2) of a gas turbine linearly actuating a piston rod (11) that actuates on its end a ratched wheel (1) that moves the rotor (2) of the gas turbine, the device (10) comprising an eccentric wheel (12) and a synchronous motor (14), such that the piston rod (11) is moved through the eccentric wheel (12), connected to the synchronous motor (14). The device (10) also comprises an incremental counter (22) controlling the angular position of the synchronous motor (14).
