Zusammenfassung:	A component (1) of a domestic appliance, which component (1) is wetted by a liquid, is provided with an at least hydrophobically acting coating on the surface thereof which comes into contact with the liquid. Said at least hydrophobically acting coating (6) is configured as a liquid boundary layer which consists of a substrate (9) and a boundary liquid (10) which is incorporated therein. Here, with respect to the liquid which wets the component (1), the boundary liquid (10) has a sliding layer (11) which repels the liquid.
