Zusammenfassung: | A tire for an aeroplane and, in particular, a crown of a tire for an aeroplane, to reduce the dimensions and mass of pieces of tread in the event of accidental tire tread separation, without the use of additional devices external to the tire, which includes a tread intended to come into contact with the ground via a tread surface, and extending radially between a bottom surface and the tread surface, the tread comprising independent cavities. According to the invention, each cavity has, in the tread surface, an opening surface inscribed inside a circle, the centers (O) of the circles, circumscribed at the opening surfaces of the cavities, are distributed axially, over at least part of the axial width (l) of the tread surface, with an axial spacing (pY) at least equal to 0.02 times and at most equal to 0.12 times the circumferential length of the periphery of the tire, and the centers (O) of the circles, circumscribed at the opening surfaces of the cavities, are distributed circumferentially, over at least part of the periphery of the tire, with a circumferential spacing (pX) at least equal to 0.02 times and at most equal to 0.12 times the circumferential length of the periphery of the tire (1). |
