Zusammenfassung:	The optoelectronic rangefinder has a transmitting unit (23) for transmitting a high frequency intensity modulated optical radiation, and a receiving unit for receiving a portion of the optical radiation that is reflected from a target object. A semiconductor laser (1) is brought as a housing-free laser substrate on a circuit board (4), where the laser substrate is electrically connected with the circuit board or a laser diode driver (5) with a bonding wire (2). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a transmitting unit with a carrier element; and (2) a method for manufacturing a transmitting unit.
