Zusammenfassung:	Methods of improving sheet gloss are disclosed herein. A composition is established directly on a base to form a recording medium, where the composition includes modified calcium carbonate and precipitated calcium carbonate. The recording medium is exposed to a calendering process at a pressure ranging from about 1200 pressure per linear inch (PLI) to about 1500 PLI and at a temperature ranging from about 85C to about 95C. The calendering process is performed for a number of passes ranging from 2 to 5.
