Zusammenfassung:[Object] To provide a method and device for manufacturing a joined piece capable of flexibly adapting to changes in the positions of parts joined to a vehicle component such as a steering member, or changes in the parts themselves. [Solution] A hand robot (1) is operated according to pre-inputted instruction data in order to hold a part (200) to be joined to a steering member basepiece (100) at a holding position (S7), and a third camera (22) photographs to obtain an image (S8). The image is compared to a reference image taken by the third camera of the joining position of a reference steering member basepiece and part, and the comparison results are used to determine the deviation amount of the position at which the part is being held with respect to the joining position in the reference image (S9). A correction amount for the position at which the part is held for decreasing the deviation amount of the position of the part is determined based on the deviation amount determined in (S9) (S10). The position of the part is corrected from the holding position according to the correction amount determined in (S10) (S11), after which the part is joined to the steering member basepiece to form a steering member (S12).
