Zusammenfassung:	A method comprising in which electricity and/or information signals is/are passed between an accessory device or power supply and an apparatus through a cable comprising one or more electric or optical wires. Mechanical manipulation of the cable by a user is detected. Responsive to detecting of manipulation of the cable, controlling operation is caused in an apparatus that is in operational connection with the cable to enable the user to control the apparatus by manipulation of the cable.
