Pivot adapter for a fibre optic drawer

Pivot adapter (1) for fixing a pivotable fibre optic drawer (10) to a rack. The pivot adapter (1) comprises a) a pivot hinge support portion (30), for supporting a pivot hinge (20) of the drawer(10), the pivot hinge (20) defining a pivot axis (21), and b) a fibre routing surface for routing the optical fibre (139) towards the pivot axis (21). The fibre routing surface (180) defines a first space (S1) and a second space (S2) on opposed sides of the fibre routing surface (180). When the drawer (10) is pivoted, at least a part of a slack portion (141) of the fibre (139) can be displaced, through a displacement opening (170) in the fibre routing surface (180), from the first space (S1) into the second space (S2).
