Zusammenfassung:	A battery charger 1A, on which power conversion components 11, 81, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9 for converting commercial power into direct current power are mounted, comprises a core frame 14 formed in a C-letter shape in horizontal cross-section, wherein components 3, 4, 5 at least producing heat among the power conversion components are mounted on one side confined by a C-letter cross section of its both sides; an outer housing 15a,15b so attached to the core frame as to cover the core frame; and a fan 16 supplying cooling air to a region confined by the C-letter cross section of the core frame.
