Zusammenfassung:	The device has a mat element (40) providing a standing area (48) for a stack (1) located in a stroke zone (4). The standing area of the mat element is arranged parallel to a transportation zone (5) along a traveling direction. A drive unit (10) comprises lower deflection rollers (13, 14) in a supply plane (2) and upper deflection rollers (11, 12) in an exhausting plane (3). The drive unit comprises a handoff roller (17) that is arranged in the mat element and attached to the upper deflection rollers, where diameter of the upper deflection rollers is larger than diameter of the handoff roller.
