Zusammenfassung:	The device (100) has a transmission module (110) comprising an antenna, and a housing (120) for accommodating the transmission module and the antenna. A part of the housing has a frame structure with a frame element (130) made from anti-static material e.g. plastic with filling materials. The housing comprises an area (140) made from another material such that radiation of the antenna goes essentially through the area and not through the frame elements. The area of the housing are formed at a side surface of the device, where the frame element form an integrated mesh. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a portable electronic device.
