Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for determining a distance from a sensor to a luminaire. The luminaire includes at least a first light source configured to emit a first light beam adapted to illuminate a predefined area and a second light source configured to emit a second light beam adapted to illuminate a background area surrounding the predefined area. The sensor, which could e.g. be included within another luminaire, is configured to detect a back-reflected first light beam and a back-reflected second light beam. The method includes determining the distance from the sensor to the luminaire based, at least partially, on a comparison of information indicative of a signal strength of the detected back-reflected first light beam and information indicative of a signal strength of the detected back-reflected second light beam. |
