Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to an electrically driven axle of a dual track vehicle having drive shafts allocated to the wheels and an axle support having a plurality of wheel-guiding drivers fastened thereto, wherein at least one electrical motor or an axle drive is fastened to the axle support and furthermore a housing comprising elements for providing electrical energy for the electrical motor or for an electrical drive motor connected to the drive shafts via the axle drive is fastened to the axle support or forms a component of the axle support in the form of a main body. The housing is designed in a stepped manner in the side view and consists of an upper shell and a lower shell, the coupling joint of which extends upwardly toward the rear of the vehicle. According to the invention there are also front and rear continuous cross-members, having bearings for linking the axle to the vehicle body in the two end regions thereof. Wheel-guiding drivers are fastened via bearing brackets on the housing and/or on one of the cross-members and/or on a molded part flanged laterally to the housing. Furthermore, according to the invention, a fuel tank installed in the vehicle for supplying an optionally provided internal combustion engine can encompass the step level which is front-most in the driving direction formed by the housing. |
