Pigment preparation with metal effect pigments, method for their manufacture and use of the same

Pigment composition comprises metallic effect pigments, which have an average size of 1.7-2.8 mu m and an average thickness of 15-50 nm, and at least one polycarboxylic acid. Independent claims are also included for: (1) flexographic ink comprising the pigment composition; and (2) preparing a pigment preparation comprising grinding the metal powder with with average size distribution function value of 0.6-2.4 mu m and measure of the coarse fraction of 1.6-4.3 mu m in the presence of at least one polycarboxylic acid with grinding medium to obtain metal effect pigments. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Pigmentpräparation mit Metalleffektpigmenten, wobei die Pigmentpräparation Metallefifektpigmente, deren mittlere Größe d 50 in einem Bereich von 1,7 bis 2,8 µm und deren mittlere Dicke h 50 in einem Bereich von 15 bis 50 nm liegt, sowie wenigstens eine Polycarbonsäure enthält. Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser Pigmentpräparation als auch die Verwendung derselben.
