Zusammenfassung:	The present embodiments provide systems and methods for deploying at least a portion of a stent (60). In some embodiments, the system comprises a cannula (30) having an outer surface, and an auger (40) having a plurality of turns coupled to the outer surface of the cannula (30). The stent (60) has a portion dimensioned to be disposed within a valley of the auger (40). Rotation of the cannula (30) and the auger (40) advances the portion of the stent (60) in a predetermined longitudinal direction.
