Zusammenfassung:	The wind energy plant has a rotor hub (10) that is fixed to a rotor blade, a generator, a drive shaft with a rotor hub connected to a rotor shaft section (32). A generator shaft portion is connected to the rotor of the generator. The rotor shaft section is formed as a separate component, and has length smaller than the maximum diameter of the rotor shaft section in the region of connection to the rotor hub in the axial direction. The drive shaft has an intermediate shaft section (34) which is connected to the rotor shaft section.
