Zusammenfassung:	An aircraft seat assembly (100) including multiple seats (102,103,104) together having a total seating area (130). The aircraft seat assembly also includes an armrest (143) separating a first seat (102) of the multiple seats from a second seat (103) of the multiple seats and a sliding mechanism (140) coupled to the armrest. The sliding mechanism enables movement of the armrest (143) to change a portion of the total seating area that is associated with at least one seat of the multiple seats. The aircraft seat assembly also includes a controller (156) that controls movement of the armrest (143) responsive to a control command.
