Zusammenfassung:	A mobile terminal for receiving a message and a control method thereof are provided. The mobile terminal includes: a wireless communication unit configured to receive at least one of authentication information and a message from an external electronic device; an authenticating unit configured to perform user authentication by using the authentication information received from the electronic device; and a controller configured to perform a control operation in response to a control command included in the received message when the user authentication is performed, and transmit a message indicating the result of performing the control operation to the electronic device.
