A pulse transformer (41-44) is configured to generate signal assigned to change in charge and/or direction of electric current (i1) flowing through current path (51-54) exhibited by power stack. An evaluation device is configured to evaluate signal coming from pulse transformer, and to draw conclusion regarding operational reliability of semiconductor switch. An independent claim is included for method for testing power supply of electrical device.
