Zusammenfassung:The turbine blade has a root portion, a platform and an aerofoil that is mounted on platform and is formed by a pressure side wall and a suction side wall and has an outer surface. The pressure side wall and suction side wall meet at a leading edge and a trailing edge. The suction side wall defines portion of radially outward surface of aerofoil and overhang at aerofoil tip that has maximum overhang length that is between 5% and 20% of axial chord length of blade and is located between 15% and 40% of suction surface length from leading edge. An independent claim is included for a rotor stage of turbine.
