An electronic apparatus includes a communication unit that communicates with an external device according to a predetermined communication specification, such as Bluetooth or WiFi; a sound processor that generates an acoustic sound to establish a connection with the external device when a predetermined event occurs; a speaker that outputs the acoustic sound; and a controller that controls the communication unit to automatically establish a connection with the external device according to the predetermined communication specification when a response signal is received from the external device that received the acoustic sound output from the speaker.
