Zusammenfassung:	The maneuvering drive comprises a controller and multiple drive units (24), where each drive unit has an electric drive motor with a rotor. The controller and the drive unit are operated in a diagnostic mode, in which the rotor is oscillated around an initial position with a frequency, such that a tone is generated. The controller operates all the drive units simultaneously in the diagnostic mode to indicate the state of the drive units. The controller operates one of the drive units in a diagnostic mode, to indicate an error condition of the maneuvering drive.
