Zusammenfassung: | The method involves receiving a value of voltage (VHVDC plus, VHVDC minus) on one of two phases (23, 24) of a bipolar power distribution network (13) and a current value in an electrical ground (11) of the aircraft. One of the voltage values is compared with a predetermined threshold value, and the current value is compared with another predetermined threshold value. A resistive protection device (30) of the network is controlled by changing its resistivity according to the comparison, where the protection device is provided with a variable resistive system.
