Zusammenfassung: | With the aid of a clocked flyback converter circuit, which can be used particularly for heating at least one filament (51) of a light source (50), such as a gas-discharge lamp, and which comprises a transformer with a primary winding (1) and a secondary winding (2), electrical energy is transferred from a primary side, which is connected to the primary winding (1) and clocked by a switch (3) as a result of said switch (3) being repeatedly activated and deactivated, to a secondary side, which is connected to the secondary winding (2), in order to heat the filament (51) that is coupled to the secondary side. After the switch has been deactivated, a voltage (VDS) on the switch (3) is detected and compared to a reference value. Should the voltage (VDS) on the switch (3) exceed the reference value, an error mode is activated. |
