Laboratory device and method for the automatically treatment of laboratory samples

Laboratory machine (1) for program-controlled treatment of at least one laboratory sample, comprises (a) a treatment device (2) for the program-controlled treatment of the laboratory sample using several program parameters which are at least partially selected by an user, (b) an electronic control device (3) comprising at least one processor device (4) and at least one storage device (5), (c) a user interface device for manual input of data by a user and for displaying information comprising the data, and (d) at least one control program for controlling the laboratory machine. Laboratory machine (1) for program-controlled treatment of at least one laboratory sample, comprises (a) a treatment device (2) for the program-controlled treatment of the laboratory sample using several program parameters which are at least partially selected by an user, (b) an electronic control device (3) comprising at least one processor device (4) for data processing which comprises the execution of a control program for controlling the laboratory machine, and at least one storage device (5) for storing data, preferably the control program and the program parameters, (c) a user interface device for manual input of data by a user and for displaying information comprising the data, comprising a display, preferably a touchscreen display, and (d) at least one control program for controlling the laboratory machine, comprising instructions for (i) displaying at least one query area comprising at least one information area and at least one input area which is associated with the information area, in a first display area of the display, (ii) querying the program parameter which is required for the program-controlled execution of the treatment, in which an information for the program parameter is displayed in the information area, and an input from the user, preferably a touch of the input area, is captured in the input area, (iii) displaying at least one value which is input by the user for the program parameter in an information area of the second display area of the display, respectively after input of the program parameter by the user, (iv) displaying at least one or all values input by the user for the program parameters in the second display area, after the querying of the required program parameters, and (v) carrying out the treatment using the queried program parameters.
