Zusammenfassung:	The method involves receiving a print image (15) from an electronic camera (14) e.g. line camera, color camera or black-and-white camera. Reference data of color values on a pressure trajectory (11) is output to a memory and a computing unit (17). Data of the print image is compared with luminance data at predetermined areas. The reference data of the color values is stored in the computing unit. Data e.g. time and location of color values, of the predetermined areas of the print image taken up by the camera is synchronized. An independent claim is also included for a device for monitoring colorimetry of a print image.
