Zusammenfassung: | Determining concentrations of at least two substances in a bodily fluid sample, involves (a) irradiating sample with light at several wavelengths, (b) detecting the valuesof absorbance, (c) detecting first measured value at a first wavelength, (d) calculating approximate curve of the absorbance of the first substance, (e) calculating first approximate value, (f) calculating an absorbance at a third wavelength, (g) determining deviation, (h) correcting approximate curve, and (i) determining concentration of the second substance. Method for determining concentrations of at least two substances in a bodily fluid sample, involves (a) obtaining body fluid sample, and irradiating the sample with light at several wavelengths, (b) detecting the values of absorbance of the sample at several wavelengths, (c) detecting first measured value at a first wavelength and determining concentration of the first substance by dividing the measured value with the specific substance of the first extinction coefficients, (d) calculating approximate curve of the absorbance of the first substance on the basis of the first measured value, (e) calculating first approximate value of the concentration of the second substance on the basis of a second measured value, and values of the approximate curve at a second wavelength, (f) calculating an absorbance at a third wavelength on the basis of the first approximate value and values of the approximate curve, (g) determining deviation from a third measured value at the third wavelength, (h) correcting approximate curve based on the determined deviation, and (i) determining concentration of the second substance by correcting the first approximate value on the basis of the second measurement value and corrected values of the approximate curve. An independent claim is included for system for determining concentrations of at least two substances in a bodily fluid sample. |
