Multicoordinating scheduling

A scheduler for a cellular telecommunications network is provided having a first base station, the base station corresponding to a first cell, the scheduler being adapted to: identify a geographical location of a first mobile device connected to the base station; obtain resource usage information of mobile devices located in proximity to the first mobile device but connected to a second cell of the network; and, based on the geographical location of the first mobile device and the resource usage information, allocate resource blocks to the first mobile device. A base station and telecommunications network and associated method and computer readable storage medium are also provided.
