Zusammenfassung:	A tire loader (100) comprising a support frame and a plurality of tire engaging chucks or paddles (110) mounted to the support frame and arranged in an annular manner to grip a tire is disclosed. Each tire engaging chuck or paddle (110) is radially movable. The tire loader (100) further includes a bead support ring (102). Also, a green tire preformer and tire loader system is disclosed comprising such a tire loader (100), and a method for loading a green tire onto a tire press. The method comprises the steps: lowering a first bead support ring (102) into engagement with a first bead area (14a) of the green tire, gripping the outer perimeter of the tire, and lifting the tire onto the press. Finally, a method for bringing the bead areas of green tire into alignment with each other is disclosed.
