Zusammenfassung:	The bearing (1) has a tilting segment (5) supported on a support ring (3) such as to be seated on top and be radially displaceable by a tilting-segment support (4). The support includes a preload device (20) for preloading the tilting segment in a direction toward the shaft of a single-shaft turbomachine when the operating rotational speed of the turbomachine is above a predetermined tilting-segment preload rotational speed. The tilting segment is radially moved without preload when the operating rotational speed of the turbomachine is below the tilting-segment preload rotational speed.
