The runner blade (1) has a blade (2) with a leading edge (6) and a trailing edge (8) opposite to the leading edge. The blade has a blade tip (14) delimiting the pressure-side wall (10) and the suction-side wall (12) in the main direction. A cross-section of the blade tip is gradually reduced corresponding to the middle section (16) over a front partial section (18) in the direction of the leading edge and over a rear partial section (22) in the direction of the trailing edge, starting from the middle section. Offenbart ist eine Schaufel (1) für eine Strömungsmaschine, insbesondere ein Flugzeugtriebwerk, deren Schaufelspitze (14) ausgehend von ihrem Mittelbereich (16) zumindest über jeweils einen vorderen Teilbereich (18) in Richtung der Anströmkante (6) und über zumindest einen hinteren Teilbereich (22) in Richtung der Abströmkante (8) gegenüber dem Mittelbereich (16) querschnittreduziert ist, sowie eine Strömungsmaschine mit zumindest einer aus derartigen Schaufeln gebildeten Schaufelreihe.
