Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a dentifrice composition which has excellent dental caries preventive effect by improving the uptake of fluoride ions into tooth enamel or dentin and improving acid resistance. A dentifrice composition comprising the following components (A), (B), (C) and (D): (A) from 0.002 to 5% by mass of a fluoride ion supplying compound in terms of fluorine, (B) from 25 to 65% by mass of a sugar alcohol, which is dissolved in an amount of 5 to 30 g in 100 g of an aqueous solution at 20°C, (C) from 10 to 25% by mass of water, and (D) from 0.1 to 1.2% by mass of a binder, wherein the mass ratio of the component (B) to the component (C), the mass ratio (B/C), is more than 1 and 6 or less.
