Zusammenfassung:	A refrigerator, in particular a domestic refrigerator, has two storage chambers, which are designed for different operating temperatures, and an evaporator which is accommodated in a separating wall between the storage chambers. An outlet end of the evaporator is connected to the relatively cold storage chamber, and an inlet end of the evaporator is connected to the relatively warm storage chamber. The inlet end is separated from the relatively cold storage chamber, and an edge of the separating wall bounds a gap which connects the two storage chambers.
