Zusammenfassung:	The mechanism (1) has an annular diaphragm (3) arranged in a lid (2) and swung between engaged and disengaged positions to move a pressure plate (5) to engage with an opposite reaction plate in order to enclose a friction disk. The diaphragm pivots around support zones (6, 7) between the diaphragm and the lid and between the diaphragm and pressure plate. A thrust washer (16) is mounted on the lid, and comprises an extended surface i.e. plane surface, rested against a flat surface (21) of the lid. The washer has a projecting zone (22) forming the support zone of the diaphragm.
