Method for manufacturing a polymer dispersion and its use

Preparing a dispersion comprising a polymer component as a dispersed phase, comprises: (a) dissolving at least a polymer component in an organic, water-miscible solvent, (b) adding a sufficient amount of a base to maintain a pH which is greater than 7, and (c) feeding an aqueous emulsion of at least one ionomer to the polymer solution obtained in the step (b), by stirring the polymer solution. Independent claims are also included for: (1) producing a coated film (1) having the dispersion comprising printing in an intaglio printing process; (2) producing a laminate comprising laminating the film under heat on a substrate; and (3) a film comprising discretely distributed polymer particles on at least one side. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Dispersion, beinhaltend als disperse Phase mindestens eine Polymerkomponente, umfassend die Schritte: a. Lösen mindestens einer Polymerkomponente in einem organischem, mit Wasser mischbaren Lösungsmittel, b. Zugabe einer ausreichenden Menge einer Base zur Sicherstellung eines pH-Wertes nach Schritt c, welcher grösser 7 ist, c. Zuführen einer wässrigen Emulsion mindestens eines Ionomers zu der in Schritt b) erhaltenen Polymerlösung, insbesondere durch Einrühren in die Polymerlösung.
