Zusammenfassung:	The drier has a rotatably supported drum (10) comprising a drum body (11) and stroke shovels (13), where the shovels are arranged at the drum body. The stroke shovels are adjustable relative to the drum body and pivotable around a pivot axis (15) that runs parallel to a rotational axis of the drum. The stroke shovels comprise a bendable edge portion at a free end. A ring-shaped adjusting device (19) stays in effective connection with the stroke shovels, where a pivot axis of the edge portion is oriented parallel to the pivot axis of the stroke shovels. Ein Trommeltrockner zum Trocknen von Tabak umfasst eine drehbar gelagerte Trommel (10) mit einem Trommelkörper (11) und einer Mehrzahl von an dem Trommelkörper (11) angeordneten Hubschaufeln (13). Die Hubschaufeln (13) sind relativ zu dem Trommelkörper (11) verstellbar.
