Zusammenfassung: | Provided are a block copolymer and a thermoplastic elastomer composition each of which is excellent in both tensile strength and elastic recovery, and has good abrasion resistance. Specifically, provided are a hydrogenated block copolymer, which is obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer having two or more polymer blocks (a) each containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and one or more polymer blocks (b) each containing structural units derived from isoprene and 1,3-butadiene, in which the hydrogenated block copolymer has a crystallization peak temperature (Tc) defined as described below of -3 to 15°C, and a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing the hydrogenated block copolymer: (crystallization peak temperature (Tc)) a peak top temperature of an exothermic peak observed when the temperature of a sample is increased from 30°C to 150°C at a rate of temperature increase of 10°C/min and then the sample is cooled to -100°C at a rate of temperature decrease of 10°C/min, the peak top temperature being measured with differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), is defined as the crystallization peak temperature (Tc). |
