Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a cover plate 12 for a hinge 6 for a foldable bar 3 to be used in a removable compartment divider 1 for a vehicle and a compartment divider comprising such a cover plate 12. The cover plate 12 is provided with an anchoring device 13 intended to be attached to the removable compartment divider 1 and the cover plate 12 is attached to the anchoring device 13 via a connecting link 14. In case of breakage of the connecting link 14 has the cover plate 12 been further connected to the anchoring device 13 by an extendable safety attachment 15 allowing said cover plate 12 to move and detach at the connecting link 14 while still being connected to the anchoring device 13 by the extendable safety attachment 15.
