Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is a still image extraction apparatus for extracting a specific frame as a still image from a plurality of frames. The still image extraction apparatus includes: an extraction condition registration device, an extraction determination device, and an extraction device. The extraction condition registration device registers an extraction condition, which is specified by a user of the still image extraction apparatus, for extracting the still image in an extraction condition recording unit. The extraction determination device determines in a frame-by-frame manner whether or not the plurality of frames satisfy the extraction condition registered in the extraction condition recording unit. The extraction device extracts, as a still image, a frame that has been determined to satisfy the extraction condition.
